Connectivity
Connectivity will continue as the final phases of the “Beeline Trail” are completed. This multi-use trail will connect the Downtown CTfastrak station to Plainville and the Farmington Canal Trail.
Bike NB

Make a Difference. Ride a bike.
New Britain is proud to be 1 of only 11 municipalities in CT to be awarded the “Bike-Friendly Community” designation by the League of American Bicyclists. Over the last few years, the City of New Britain has been able to incorporate bike lanes throughout the City to better connect commuters and cycle enthusiasts to new points of interest. Accessibility to bike lanes not only decreases vehicle usage and traffic congestion, but promotes a healthier, sustainable transportation option.
